Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a packet that explains how I need to prepare for the TUFF eNUFF?

Click here to download the Pre-race information packet – providing all of the information about the TUFF eNUFF race and venue. It also has the Waiver that must be signed prior to participating.

Do I have to have a team to race?

No, our course is designed to enhance community spirit, in that, many of our challenges will benefit from assistance of others, but we do not require you to be on a team.

Why can’t I choose between doing the 5k or the 10k?

Because we are so confident you will want to do the whole race, we don’t want to limit those who wish to change their mind half way through.

I’m not much of a swimmer. Will I be required to swim?

Our swimming challenge will be optional with a separate challenge in its place. Muahahaha

I have kids under 18 years of age. We are coming with the whole family. Is there something they can do while I race?

This is a perfect venue for a family. The Adventure Center will be open with Ziplines, High Ropes Course, Mountain Coaster and Eurobungy. The lodge across the street has an indoor waterpark, outside pool, spa and restaurant. There is plenty of fun for the whole family while you are getting challenged to the max.

What should I bring the day of the race?

Racers MUST bring identification to check in. Other than that we highly recommend a change of clothes (including other shoes) and sun screen.

What should I wear?

Choosing clothes that are both workout comfortable and you don’t mind getting dirty, would be your best option.

What do you mean by “alcohol free” event?

The Tuff eNuff is a benefit for the continued support and recognition of two local agencies, Cortland Prevention Resources and the Alcohol and Drug Council of Tompkins County. A focus of this race is to promote healthy play and community support. Alcohol will not be served or advertised in the race area during the event.

What happens if I miss my wave? Can I still participate in the challenge?

Of course you can! If something beyond your control threatens to make you miss your wave time, you can just join the next one leaving the starting gate.

Will there be a place to change clothes?

Greek Peak will be supplying changing tents for your convenience and privacy as you change and get ready for the BBQ and bonfire!
